Yuriy Gurzhy was born in Ukraine and now lives in Berlin. He is a musician, DJ, producer and writer, known for founding the legendary Russendisko parties in the early 2000s, putting together ten compilations (including the best-selling Russendisko Hits and Shtetl Superstars) and leading the Emigrantski Raggamuffin Collective RotFront.
